The guide takes you through a structured programme to help your children not only learn their spellings but to understand, embed and use them in everyday writing. It has been specially designed to suit you and your circumstances; whether you get spellings sent home from school followed by a test, no spellings sent home at all or if you need an intervention programme at school to support children, this guide is for you! It can also be easily adapted for the time you have to learn spellings, you don’t have to complete all two weeks and we explain how you can adapt it to just a week or even three days worth of spelling fun!
The kids won’t feel like they are ploughing through their spelling practice, they’ll just be having a good time, as you use our simple set-ups and game ideas to create a fun environment for learning to spell!

Simple and fun ways to get learning in at home in quick short bursts
This spelling guide is fantastic! They games are all super easy to set up and play and most importantly lots of fun! As a primary school teacher, I know this is such a brilliant way to learn spellings. My daughter is normally very reluctant to practise spellings but is now excited to see which game we are going to play next! Thank you x
My boys absolutely loved games really recommend guide. One boy who hates writing out spellings wrote out another set of his own as he seen me playing with older brother he wanted to play same game with his spellings!! Also had friend round yesterday and all boys playing forfeit game went down a storm!
Just look at that face! I think it says it all!
Homework is normally a battle for my daughter, she is dyslexic and possibly has ADHD so she struggles to stay focused but she is loving the games so far!
I am so pleased with these games, ideas as well as all the other information provided in the guide. My son is 7 and finds spelling hard which makes learning difficult. However he recently said he loves the mini games we play and it’s become a great motivator for him to try and have a good go. It’s also given me inspiration for other ways to play so we are building up quite a bank of ideas. Particularly love the extra games such as the word search and spelling house. You’ve made homework fun.
